Welcome!
I had a welcomed visitor today! Always happy to see them, but extra happy this time of year. She was very sleepy though, so I lifted her out and let her have a sip of my blooming crocus and then she flew off. Just like that!
Gentle and firm
I have had several close encounters with these wonderful beings. They are both gentle and firm at the same time. Some also are very much interested in being in the picture and some wants me to go away to let them eat. They never hurt anyone, unless they have to. They don't sting they give a burning sensation - I have accidentally put my bare foot on a bumblebee and felt them. Then I have helped them back to being okay by giving them Reiki - healing energy - and seen them fly off when they were ready.
They are fantastic pollinators and are so needed. They like simple flowers, as they can access their nectar. Some have been fantastic in photos. Just about 18 months ago I was taking photos of a butterfly visiting my garden and this bumblebee kept flying around me and infront of the camera shouting loudly: "Me!!! Take a photo of me!!!" So I did:
When drawing this gorgeous creature I have more difficulties, so I will need to try again, but this is one attempt to start with.
Photogenic beings
More photos though:

Gorgeous, aren't they? 💖💖💖
Thank you all lovely bumblebees! You are awesome! See you around.
