I met a Robin today

Robin

I met a Robin today
It wasn't until I turned around
and saw the branch he had
sat on moving, that I realised I had
startled him. I wonder what he
had said if I had seen him first

I met a Robin today
I saw a bird jumping into the hedge
next to the bush/tree he had sat on
I saw him a few times and told him
I was sorry to have frightened him
cause I never meant to

I met a Robin today
I told him, my heart told him,
how happy I was to see him
I came closer, just to see if
I could catch a glimpse of him
or if he had already flown

I met a Robin today
He was waiting, listening
and when he felt my heart
he flew out of the hedge
Not too close, but not away
He stopped, sat and turned to me

I met a Robin today
He wanted me to see him
He wanted me to know
that he could see me
and feel my heart. He said:
Thank you! And took off

What a cat tells you

A cat like Nelly!

If you have had the privilege to know a cat, then you know. They are who they are. They take you for who you are, well who you are as long as you remember to see them too. When they want to. Not any other time. They also never apologise for being who they are.

Having grown up with at cat as my closest friend, they make sense to me. More than people at times. They know how to love themselves, in a good way. We could learn so much from them. You also know that if a cat accepts you and loves you, then you should feel honoured.

Living with a cat, you will soon discover that they have managed to get everybody to hear and see them, help them to get what they are wanting and when they want it. A truly remarkable skill. I admit I have been short with him at times, perhaps when 3 am he is wanting something and I just want my sleep. Or when he decides to take a bite and it happens to be my arm or finger. Love him dearly though, and he knows it.

Me: "I'm sorry for times I've not been so good to you!"

Nelly: "Okay. I've done things to you too."

Me: "True. Why is that?"

Nelly: "Because you will love me anyway."

Me: "True."

Again: Thank you, Nelly! đŸ™đŸ˜»

Peace, play and joy! Hibiscus talking.

Happiness

When hanging my washing, I become aware of something white to my left. I look over and the sight of Nelly eating grass makes me warm and happy all over, into my bones and definitely into the core of my heart. He's so happy munching away.  Happiness finds me right there.

Hibiscus

A few days earlier I look at my hibiscus blooming. Then I heard this beautiful flower say, in Swedish first:

"Frid, lek och glÀdje!
Jag Àr en gammal sjÀl - som möter dig igen. Jag Àr sÄ glad att se det du gör. LÄt oss höras! LÄt oss synas! Vi Àr liv. Hör oss sjunga. Vi Àr full av frid, lek och glÀdje. Det ger vi till er alla - för att vi vill det. Av kÀrlek. Till kÀrlek. Sprider ljuset vidare.
LÄt oss hylla oss alla tillsammans. Vi lever hÀr och nu. Det betyder nÄgot. LÄt det betyda nÄgot!"

Then the hibiscus and I translate it to English:
"Peace, play and joy!
I am an old soul - meeting you again. I'm so happy to see what you are doing. Let us be seen! Let us be heard! Vi are life. Hear how we sing. We are full of peace, play and joy. We are giving that to you all - because we want to. Out of love. For love. Spreading the light.
Let us cherish us all together. We are living here and now. That means something. Let it mean something!"
❤ ❤ ❤

Thank you Nelly! Thank you hibiscus! 🙏💓

Listening when nature speaks. Meet pangolin

 Listening when nature speaks

Does nature talk? If so, is it possible to hear? After spending so much time with different living and growing beings in nature I believe it is. If you have a pet, you will know what I mean. They tell us all sorts of things, even though they cannot speak our language. They are very clever though and make sure we know what they mean. What if we can use the same technique or perhaps even go deeper with our way of communicating, to hear the wild? The plants, trees and flowers. The birds, the butterflies, the bees and all other animals around us. Well, I suppose not all of them would want to speak to us. They might be busy just living their lives. Some of them do though. They want to be seen and heard. Please let me know what you think or what is true to you. This is my interpretation, this first one was after a challenge I accepted, a couple of years ago:
